The Einstein Forum is an institution under public law of the state of Brandenburg, which addresses the public with an innovative, international and interdisciplinary scientific programme.
The Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation offer fully-funded Albert Einstein Scholarships to outstanding young scientists from around the world. Their main goal is to support young scientists to conduct scientific projects and gain interdisciplinary work experience.
Those selected will get to stay at the Einsteinhaus in Caputh for five to six months, a house of importance in terms of the history of architecture and science.

The scholarship holder will receive a grant of €10,000 to cover living expenses and project expenses. Travel expenses are also incurred. The fellowship is awarded for one project only.
The Albert Einstein Fellowship gives students the possibility to be accompanied by their families during the fellowship period. However, the fellowship will not cover their travel expenses.

For a project to be accepted, it must meet the following criteria:
- The proposed project must be different from your thesis or dissertation and must be outside of any previous academic work (master’s theses, published articles, books…)
- The proposed project must be in English.
- You must prove and defend your business idea as original, interesting, and feasible.
Eligibility and required documents:
- Applicants must not be more than 35 years old;
- An accredited university degree in the human, social, or natural sciences is required.
- Candidates must submit a CV in English and a presentation of the project selected for the scholarship, with two academic references before May 15, 2021.
- The proposed project must be different from your thesis or dissertation.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- IELTS/TOEFL is not required to apply.
