De Autozulieferer Schaeffler zal de Regensburger Antriebsspezialisten Vitesco volledig vervolledigen en zo één worden “Marktführer in Bereich E-Mobiliteit” werd. De prijs die absoluut 720 miljoen euro kostte, was een kosteneffectieve synergie van 600 miljoen euro, maar niet zo goed. Akshat Kacker van de Amerikaanse bank JPMorgan schrieb, de Zusammengang heeft “een sterke strategische logica via complete technologieportfolio’s, die nuttig zijn in elektrische mobiliteit”.
