ESRC-funded PhD scholarships are available to all national and international students and PhD students in the field of social sciences at the University of Reading.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for PhD programmes, the successful candidate(s) generally need a minimum of 2.1 degree higher or equivalent plus a Master’s degree, related to the subject of the intended PhD programme.
For some university fields, including arts and humanities, social sciences and business, candidates are usually accepted to study for a doctoral degree only after completing a master’s degree.
Application process:
In order to participate in this scholarship, applicants must apply to the university for admission into a doctoral programme. Applying for admission to a PhD program is a separate process from submitting an application for SeNSS support.

Documents required from the applicant include: high school diploma or academic record, A-level, International Baccalaureate Diploma, internationally recognized credentials from abroad are acceptable, as well as proof of residence.
