Techne Scholarships are now open to international PhD students in all fields to pursue their studies at the University of Surrey, UK.

The scholarship program is offered to support full tuition fee waiver in the UK or overseas and allowance at UKRI rates: which is currently £15,609.

Eligibility Requirements:

• The program is available to both UK and international applicants. Students from the European Union are now considered international students;
• Scholarships for students already in their doctoral studies are open, but they must remain for at least 50% of the period supported by the AHRC award (usually 18 months full-time) when they commence their award.

Application process:

In order to benefit from this scholarship, it is suggested that candidates be admitted to doctoral studies at the university. Once they receive confirmation, participants must fill out an application form for this scholarship through Techni portal.

Supporting documents:

Students are required to include a CV, their certificates, transcripts, signatures of two references at the time of application, names of two references (preferably uploading two references when applying) as well as a proposed project (with examples).
